As a Service Designer, you will be a central link between business, users and technology. You will help create an overview in complex processes where large parts of the functionality are defined in advance – especially in Salesforce solutions, where value arises through holistic understanding, user insights and the ability to put standard components together in a meaningful way.

Your everyday work is largely about connecting the dots across systems, workflows and user needs. You get close to customer centers and business areas to understand their reality in practice: What systems do they work in? How do the processes fit together? Where do the frameworks create friction or inefficiency – and what does that mean for the users and their experience?

An important part of the role is to translate these insights into conceptual solution proposals that create coherence in system landscapes with a high degree of standard functionality and limited flexibility. You work with service flows, processes, user journeys and will often work with widget- and component-based design principles.

Additionally, you facilitate workshops and actively involve both users and business in the process. You are good at communicating direction, recommendations and priorities across stakeholder levels – and ensuring that everyone has a common picture of where the solution is going.

You will work both on in-house projects and out at the customer. We work within a wide range of business domains, including energy and utilities, manufacturing and healthcare – so you will constantly encounter new areas of expertise and ways of working.

Your personal skills

We would like you to:

  • Have 2-5 years of experience in service design, business development, process optimization or similar.
  • Is used to translating user and business insights into concrete design decisions and thrives in the role of advisor.
  • Has experience in facilitating workshops, e.g. design sprints or methods from Design Thinking
  • Is curious about complex system landscapes and is motivated by understanding technical limitations in order to translate problems into coherent and value-creating solutions.
  • Have experience working in or around the Salesforce platform (e.g. Service Cloud, Sales Cloud or Experience Cloud) or Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
