FLO AddÉnergie, a North American leader in electric vehicle charging solutions, is looking for a Service Designer.

FLO AddÉnergie’s vision

The enthusiasm of users for the electrification of transport is no longer in doubt. More and more people are embracing electric cars and expecting to experience using these vehicles with as little friction as possible.

At FLO AddÉnergie, we want our users to enjoy an unparalleled charging experience for their electric vehicles and that our customers can deploy and manage their charging networks simply and efficiently.

The design and experience team will have a leading role in achieving these objectives and we would like to welcome a service designer to achieve this.

Why is the role of service designer important for FLO Addenergy?

The electric charging experience goes well beyond connecting the vehicle to a terminal. This multi-channel experience must be simple and fluid, regardless of the customer touch point.

As a service designer you will be one of the key players in designing these experiences. Your creativity as well as your ability to analyze the issues well and to propose solutions that are both innovative and pragmatic will be a major asset for us. You will influence the overall strategy of FLO Addénergie and your user-centered approach (design thinking) will also influence the rest of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user behavior using various data sources (analytics, business intelligence, observations / interviews, market monitoring, etc.) and identify findings that will guide our decision-making and your design work.
  • Map existing multi-channel experiences (ie customer journey) and represent (if applicable) the adjustments, fixes and redesign that you propose.
  • Present your findings as well as your recommendations with accuracy and clarity to all the stakeholders involved.
  • Assist the design, product, service, business line, marketing and operations teams in developing these experiences.
  • Direct user tests to validate the performance of the experiments you have designed.
  • Once delivered: measure the business performance of multi-channel experiences and propose continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in the design / strategy of multichannel and / or digital experiences, whether in a company or in an agency.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mentality: contributing to the start of a team like ours (and all that that entails) does not scare you. Rather, this is what you are looking for.
  • You were already interested in electrifying transportation before reading this job description.
  • You can listen to both business and technical needs and interpret them clearly. You know how to manage stakeholder expectations.
  • You know how to work collaboratively within a group of various experts.
  • You can integrate large amounts of conflicting information and design simple solutions.
  • You want to excel, to make others around you better while remaining authentic.
  • You are bilingual (English and French).
