Senior Service Designer

We are looking for a profile  capable of understanding the (often complex) issues of large companies and public institutions, managing a project from A to Z, and  suggesting creative solutions to develop or improve in an innovative way strategies, products, services or internal processes.

This position combines an in-depth and creative analysis of customer needs with concrete and operational actions to set up our approach. .

We are looking for someone curious and resourceful, who shows common sense and involvement in their work.

Your engagements will be with existing and new clients:

• Understand the expectations of our clients and tailor proposals to them in consequence

• Analyze data of various kinds (qualitative, quantitative, observations , etc.) to highlight insights leading to a better knowledge of users and their needs

• Design proposals for collaborative sessions for our clients,

• Design workshops: imagine the process, co-design creative tools to be used by participants, define the level of prototyping  expected at the end of the workshop

• Co-create and challenge facilitation tools designed by graphic artists (e.g.,board games, card), ideate new ways to facilitate creativity and rapidly prototype solutions,

• Co-lead workshops: facilitate a group, help participants produce the best prototype possible on site

• On some projects, you may also have to carry out user research, design personas, user experiences, or even to sketch user interfaces

• Design test protocols and help our clients test their prototypes

• Manage a project, deadlines, and the budget of a multidisciplinary team

• Work as an integrated team with Sia Partners business consultants with sectorial or functional experience complementary to that of nod-A

• Support our clients on long-term projects linked to the cultural transformation of their organization

• Participate in the permanent innovation process of Sia Partners, design and formalize new offers within working groups

• Participate in making nod-A known by contributing and writing high value-added content

• Support more junior consultants in their skills development

• Be proactive in the commercial development of nod-A, foster good relationships with customers, understand needs, design commercial proposals, push commercial offers and respond to calls for proposals

Your interactions will mainly be with large private and institutional accounts.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication: you must be able to explain complex ideas or principles in a way that everyone understands

• Great autonomy and an ability to manage time, schedules and workloads

• A strong interest in new ways of working and transforming organizations

• Strong empathy skills

• Leadership (internal, team, client, investor)

• Very good ability to work in a team

• A strategic view of projects while paying attention to details

Prerequisites

• Completely fluent in French/English (you will be required to work on projects in the rest of Canada and in the USA)

• A first experience success in consulting or in a design agency

• At least 5 to 10 years of significant experience in Service Design, Design thinking, or UX design

• Advanced knowledge in user research and UX / UI, you will be able to show us personas and user  journeys that you have completed

• Ability to model complex information (services, processes, data, interfaces)

• Experience in designing complex collaborative workshops in virtual and face-to-face formats, including the management of related equipment

• Expert facilitation with various audiences (from blue-collar workers to management committees)

• Proficiency in ppt and excel

• Proficiency in the basics of creation and prototyping software: Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma…

• Proficiency in Miro, Mural and other online collaborative tools

• Able to demonstrate an intervention in all phases of a project from user research to testing
