Job Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative customer research to inform design decisions
  • Analyze customer goals, business requirements, business processes technical constraints to identify system requirements and assess business area platform requirements.
  • Document user experience requirements, user needs, user flows to inform decisions, system functionality and non-digital experience.
  • Develop meaningful profiles, personas and scenarios
  • Map complex customer journeys that include non-digital touchpoints
  • Create wireframes or prototypes to illustrate optimal interactions and priorities based on user needs and tasks
  • Design for web and mobile, including graphic design, interaction design and data visualization
  • Transform business needs and user insights into smart, innovative design concepts delivered to a high level.
  • Collaborate with strategy leads, SMEs, business stakeholders, developers, and other groups on ensuring final service concepts comply with UX best practices and user needs.
  • Work in an agile development environment with UX teams, designers, and developers to iteratively create and improve digital products and services

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of work experience as a UX and Service Designer
  • Portfolio demonstrating examples of work in UX, research, service design
  • Proven ability to demonstrate your process, present your work, and articulate your design decisions to senior client leaders and other stakeholders
  • Proven experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment with user experience (UX) teams, designers, and non-designers to iteratively create and improve both digital and non-digital products and services; this includes establishing collaborative relationships with executives, subject matter experts and others
  • Experience conducting usability testing, 1:1 user interviews, ride-alongs or other user research and analyzing the data to identify UX
  • Experience leading a team of UX designers and ensuring final assets comply with UX best practices and meet user and business needs.

Preferred:

  • Experience independently driving the UX review cycle and closing on experience requirements
  • Familiarity with common design and collaboration tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, Miro, etc
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience across web content, tools and transactional services
  • Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in User Experience, Experience Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, Communications, other relevant degree or equivalent professional experience
