Stores of the future? Yes, we do that at Wave of Engagement | Retail Innovation Studio

15 months after our foundation, we devise, design, test and validate strategic and creative store concepts and services for 15 large and small retailers in the Benelux. In co-creation with cross-functional teams and end customers, we work from our office in Antwerp on concepts that are built on experience, smart online2offline integration, beautiful interiors and relevant technology for improving customer and employee experience. Satisfied customers and the combination of strategy, design and technology has turned out to be a winning formula, we are growing!

Great! … But, it is becoming increasingly difficult to combine making the #teamretail podcast and vlog and guiding the strategic preliminary processes with building new projects, a strong team and a strong brand. And we want to build!

That is why we are looking for you as a strong holder in strategy & service design

What are we looking for?

Must Haves

• You have a background in retail or experience with retail projects.
• You have relevant experience in facilitating different types of workshops and master the typical methodologies within service & strategy design (customer journey mapping, empathy maps, service blueprints, business model canvas, value proposition canvas, …)
• Building on our own methodological process sounds like music to your ears,
• You are very strong in organizational terms and can independently manage a project and project communication.
• You will be fascinated by the future of the sector.
• With the term human centered your eyes will sparkle.
• The energy and dynamics of a small company appeal to you, no two days are the same.

Bonus points

• You once worked in a store yourself
• You master the French language. (no deal breaker)
• You are interested in technology
• You have already developed a network in retail
• You have enough graphics to build strong presentations within beautiful templates.
• You are interested in or have knowledge of change management and the associated methodologies

• Varied work: In between the projects you help build a new event format: store of the future bootcamps, which you also host every quarter from the weather.
• A great workplace: today we have an office at Retail Detail in the city party hall on the Meir in Antwerp and due to lack of space, we are opening a second office just around the corner opposite the Opera. Easily accessible by train and parking in front. We also regularly work from home.
