Service Designer

We strengthen the iDROPS team. We are looking for an experienced service designer who can help shape the ambitious future of iDROPS, both for our lab and agency . Will you be our new, enthusiastic colleague?

iDROPS is a team of social innovators . We go for social change! With Human Centered Design processes, among other things, we create communities, we give workshops, we make toolkits, online platforms… to connect people, to strengthen their self-awareness or to create behavioral changes. This is how we make the world a better place for everyone.

Function description:

• You contribute to the development of the general and commercial strategy of various projects.
• You bring in new ideas and initiatives , both for the concrete development of new partnerships and for establishing and maintaining existing contacts.
• You represent iDROPS and the projects to various target groups: companies, interest groups, social associations, cities and municipalities.
• You are the first point of contact for partners and customers.
• You actively prospect to start new partnerships. In this way you build your own network. You do this with the necessary and necessary commercial and communication skills.
• You draw up your project plan and on that basis you achieve the objectives, and you manage your project finances .
• You organize and facilitate workshops and set up collaborations with freelancers. You do this for both participants in a professional context and for people in vulnerable contexts.
• As a true expert, you take the lead in the organization in terms of design thinking .
• You are accountable to the management and have an enthusiastic role within the organization.

Desired profile

• You are socially engaged , with a specific interest in people-driven projects.
• You have a good knowledge of design thinking .
• You have organizational talent , you work systematically and result-oriented.
• You have a strong commercial talent and know how to use it to make a difference with sufficient clout.
• You can work both independently and in a group. You are therefore a team player, but you can also develop your own actions and projects.
• Flexibility, resistance to stress and a hands-on attitude are a must, in addition to skills and a sense of synthesis.
• You have a driving license B.
• You speak perfect Dutch, and the English language has no mysteries for you either. Knowledge of French is also a plus.
• You can switch quickly and are young at heart, which you combine with your mature and strategically structured approach.
• You are dynamic , flexible and willing to grow together with the organization.

• Employee contract of indefinite duration. Full-time or 0.8 FTE is negotiable.
