Service Designer

As a Service Designer, you lead the creation and improvement of services by applying design
thinking and customer-centric strategies. You conduct user research, facilitate workshops,
simulate business models, and turn insights into actionable concepts and validated prototypes.
Once the value proposition is validated, you hand over to UX, content, and product teams for
implementation.
What are your responsibilities?
- Define project scope with stakeholders and squads
- Conduct and analyze user and market research
- Deliver personas, journeys, value propositions, and service blueprints
- Build financial business cases and forecast value
- Facilitate workshops and align stakeholders
- Support product and UX teams with insights and prototypes
- Promote design thinking and share knowledge with peers
Who are we looking for?
- 5+ years in service design, UX/CX strategy, or innovation consulting
- Native in French or Dutch, and fluent in English
- Strong skills in design thinking, customer journeys, and service blueprints
- Experience with business case creation and financial forecasting
- Confident in facilitating co-creation workshops
- Skilled in visual communication and stakeholder management
- Experience with tools like Figjam, Miro, or Mural
- Strong analytical mindset, comfortable with ambiguity
- Experience coaching junior designers is a plus
