Senior Service Designer – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

What you’ll do
- User-Centric Innovation: Develop industry-leading digital services to redefine the in-store shopping experience. From creating industry-first experiences within Scan & Go Trolley and app, to defining the future of existing experiences like self checkout.
- Uncover opportunities: Challenge existing norms and uncover new opportunities that benefit customers, the team, and Woolworths.
- Data-Driven Iteration: Leverage data insights to measure the impact of design choices and continuously improve in-store digital services. Leading research and inputting into the design of both digital and physical prototypes.
- Foster cross-team connections: Collaborate closely with various teams (across design, technology, marketing and in-store operations)
What you’ll bring
- Proven Service Design Experience: A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in Service Design, with proven experience in the ability to deliver key tools (such as customer journey maps, service design blueprints, prototypes etc). Ideally with experience of designing services that span digital and physical experiences.
- UX design and research: A deep understanding of UX and research principles, methodologies, and tools. Including knowledge and experience in HCD methodologies and Design Thinking and lean processes.
- Design and Analytical Abilities: Strong design skills combined with analytical capabilities to translate data into effective solutions. Capable of thinking both strategically and tactically to address complex challenges.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, including engaging presentation and workshopping abilities to effectively convey design ideas, concepts and gain business buy in.
- Leadership in Service Design: The ability to guide and inspire fellow service designers to achieve shared goals.
