User Research (UX) / Service Design

Temporary Full Time until 30 June 2020

$83,840 to 104,224 per annum plus super (depending on experience)

An opportunity exists in our Digital Transformation team for an energetic team player with User Research and Service Design skills to contribute to our Digital Team. The aim of the role is to define and design services that provide value to an outstanding user experience.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Plan and conduct qualitative user research, user testing and user-centred design activities

• Analyse and synthesise qualitative research and quantative data to create insights

• Use service design methods to clearly define user and business needs

• Iteratively create, co-design and test prototypes of concepts, accessible content and designs using appropriate research and design techniques

• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers, and community groups

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification and/or substantial experience in user research, service design or similar field

• A Good understanding of online usability and accessibility best practice.

• The capacity to manage complex and competing demands

• Excellent time management and organisation skills

• A high level of both written and verbal communication

• A high level of digital literacy and extensive knowledge of digital trends.

You will need to provide evidence of your right to work in Australia, certified copies of your qualifications, and a current Working with Children Check. You must also be willing to provide a Pre-Employment Health Declaration and undertake a National Police Record Check.
