About the Role

Our team is looking for a Principal Service Designer for a temporary role up to 2 years

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to identify opportunities to create business value and provide a strategic direction for work
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to define key aspects of proposed programs, it’s evolution across the sector, and how it reconciles business and user needs
  • Understand and manage the development of sitemaps, process/screen flows, and wireframes to present deliverables to senior clients
  • Facilitate participatory design/user testing sessions and manage client involvement in research, as well as behavioural in-context and empathy driven research
  • Drive preparation and facilitation of large client workshops to communicate key themes from stakeholder interviews and inception workshops to work with the team to achieve alignment on key success factors
  • Lead and connect all parties involved in the program design, including content planners, developers, business units and stakeholders
  • Continually iterate program and test with users to drive project improvements applying strategies and tools for continuous monitoring and evaluation

About You

To be successful in the role you be an experienced design strategist with experience working in a similar role. You are an experienced leader.

You have strong project and delivery skills with the ability to work in complex environments with competing priorities.

You have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills and are able to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
