Principal Service Designer

YOUR ROLE
As the Principal Service Design at IAG, your primary objective is to direct, empower, coach, and mentor stakeholders and project teams to craft human-centred experiences that deliver significant customer and business value. You’ll also play a pivotal role in shaping our innovation journey by leading and championing IAG’s ideas using our platforms.
Your role involves creating vision for the customer experience, aligning it with strategic goals, identifying opportunities for impactful solutions and influencing change. Stakeholder management will be central to your responsibilities, so a strong executive presence and the ability to navigate ambiguity and create direction are critical. An additional part of your role will be driving the voice of the employee program, ideas@IAG. You will be a custodian of the platform and facilitate strategic challenges while supporting teams in utilising the platform effectively.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with hybrid working conditions based in Sydney.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria:
• Previous experience in design and knowledge of the design process
• Ability to manage stakeholders at a senior level
• Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, creating direction and driving change
• Strong design background in an insurance / financial services institution
• Strong workshop facilitation and storytelling skills (by leveraging insights and data)
