Service Designer

About the function

We are looking for a Senior Service Designer to strengthen our ability to deliver on strategic projects — with rigor, creativity, and methodological consistency.

You will work directly on transformation initiatives — from the discovery phase to service design and implementation support — in close collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.

This role is for those who feel comfortable at the intersection of strategy, design, and facilitation, and who are accustomed to operating in complex and demanding environments.

What are you going to do?

• Mapping and structuring customer and service journeys (AS-IS and TO-BE)
• Facilitate co-design and strategy workshops with clients.
• Mapping stakeholder ecosystems and identifying relevant relationships and tensions.
• Define value propositions and develop service blueprints.
• Supporting the development of commercial proposals (conceptual and methodological framework)
• Conduct qualitative research (interviews, observation, synthesis of insights)
• Produce high-level strategic deliverables: frameworks, operating models, transformation narratives, executive presentations.

What we are looking for

Experience

• 4–7 years in Service Design / Strategic Design
• Proven experience in digital transformation projects.
• Experience in a consulting context (preferred)
• Experience in public administration (valued)
• Spanish is mandatory — you will be working with clients in Portugal and Spain.

Technical skills

• Mapping complex journeys (AS-IS / TO-BE)
• Service Blueprinting
• Design Thinking applied to real-world contexts — not just academic ones.
• Qualitative research and strategic synthesis
• Mapping stakeholders and ecosystems
• Production of high-level executive presentations and strategic documents.

Profile

• Autonomous and organized, comfortable in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills — both oral and written.
• Structured thinking with attention to detail.
• Collaborative, but capable of leading when necessary.
• Curious and insightful: you know how to ask the right questions before moving on to solutions.
