Service Designer

[Job Description]
In NEC’s diverse business areas (B2B/B2G), you will conceive value hypotheses for services starting from customer and social issues, and lead from experience design to requirements definition, implementation, and improvement. This position involves designing the overall service experience, including business and operations, and is responsible for creating results in collaboration with product/UX/UI teams, engineers, and business departments.

・Designing and conducting user/field/operational research (qualitative/quantitative) and extracting
insights ・Formulating service concepts/value propositions, experience policies (North Star) ・KPI design
・To-Be experience using customer journeys, service blueprints, etc. ・Operation design
・Consensus building and decision support through workshop design/facilitation
・Supporting requirements organization to requirements definition, prototyping/MVP verification, promoting improvements after release
・Leading project progress, quality assurance, and member development (review/mentoring)

Eligibility Requirements

For a Team Leader position:
【MUST】
Experience
: Practical experience in service design/UX design/product planning (approximately 5 years or more)
; experience leading the entire process from problem identification to concept formulation, requirements definition, and implementation support; experience
planning and conducting user research (interviews, observations, workshops, etc.)
; experience in experience design and decision-making using customer journeys, service blueprints, etc.; experience
in project promotion and progress management in one’s assigned area
; experience in judgment, coordination, and improvement proposals within one’s own area of ​​responsibility.

: Communication skills to involve diverse stakeholders (business, development, sales, operations, etc.), build consensus, and drive progress

] Experience in Agile/Lean development, including MVP design, hypothesis testing, and KPI management (including data analysis)
; experience in designing improvements using behavioral logs/business data (BI tools, analytics platforms, etc.)
; experience in designing operations after service launch and promoting improvements with a view to CS/support/on-site adoption
; experience in leading/managing team members, including member training, reviews, and prioritizing multiple projects
