More about the National Organisation for Organisation Digitalisation and Innovation

The “From Law to Digital Effectiveness” policy team coordinates various projects that offer applications for better translating legislation into digital specifications. These include the “RegulationRecht” project, the “Platform Open Rules” project (regels.overheid.nl), and the “Norm Engineering” project (TNO). The team develops the policy agenda and collaborates closely with these projects to implement concrete use cases in scaling up these solutions. The project builds on a successful prototype and focuses on the structural implementation of machine-executable legislation within the Dutch government. You will work in a small, multidisciplinary team that combines content and technology. Together, you will establish a standard that will define how legislation is applied digitally in the Netherlands in the coming years.

You will be working at the Rijks ICT Gilde (RIG). The RIG is an ambitious technology organization that does things a little differently. We have projects across the entire national government and use our knowledge and network to develop smart collaborations and solutions. We invest in ourselves and in each other. We work with expertise, courage, and connection, with specialists who have consciously chosen a career in the Dutch government. We are intrinsically motivated to help the Netherlands progress in the areas of data, software, and security.

At RIG, tech consultants contribute to data, software, and security challenges for the Netherlands of tomorrow. Our specialists are deployed on a project basis for meaningful and crucial IT projects across the entire national government. Because we work across the government, we meet the right people to share knowledge with, collaborate with, and intelligently reuse technologies and solutions. That’s how we make a difference. The strength of RIG lies in the combined strength of all our tech professionals and their diverse expertise.
