Service Designer

Full Time

Centraal Justitieel Incassobureau (CJIB)

What will you be doing?
You’ll contribute to connecting government agencies to CRI services, focusing on the National Payment Scheme. As a service designer, you’ll facilitate collaboration with various stakeholders to bring together diverse perspectives: the experiences of service users with debt, legal and policy aspects, IT issues, organizational matters, and societal considerations. You’ll develop working methods and moderate sessions to collaboratively develop user-focused designs.

You’ll develop concrete solutions using tools like service blueprints, prototypes, and other service design methodologies. This could include prototyping legal issues, such as ensuring legal protection for citizens in a joint payment plan. Through prototyping, you’ll connect citizens’ experiences with organizational and legal aspects, and explore how legal choices can influence citizens’ future experiences. You’ll also organize prototype testing with users and ensure their feedback is incorporated into the design process. You’ll conduct user research independently or in collaboration with others.

You work iteratively and can effectively explain the added value of this. You’re hands-on, take initiative in your work, and proactively turn ideas into tangible results. Visual communication is your strength, and you can also develop this graphically. You’re able to both focus on details and see the bigger picture, and you’re capable of working reflectively.

We offer even more

In addition to your salary, you will receive an individual choice budget (IKB). The IKB consists of money (16.5% of your gross annual salary) and time. With the IKB, you make choices that suit you and can customize some of your employment conditions. For example, you can choose to have part of your monthly income paid out whenever you wish. You can also convert this budget into leave and vice versa, or spend it on tax-friendly goals. The Dutch government strongly values personal growth and career development and offers numerous opportunities for this. The secondary employment conditions include various study facilities, company fitness, full reimbursement of your public transport costs for commuting, and partially paid parental leave.

This is what we ask
