Senior Service Designer

What you’ll do:
As Senior Service Designer, your overall responsibility is to drive a human-centered design approach and advocate for insight-centric innovation throughout the product vision and lifecycle. This role demands a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of human-centered design principles. You will work closely with the Design team, our Consumer Insights team, Creative Design Leads, and Product Managers to bridge business and user insights into product and service development projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead or support product and research projects to build an understanding of user needs, behaviors and experiences that inform and improve our audio products.
- Represent the Service Design perspective within the Design team and other parts of the organisation.
- Be responsible for the Customer Lens perspective in key Product Discovery projects.
- Champion the user needs and drive the insight agenda and awareness in the product organisation.
- Support and coach other designers to conduct research projects/ validation studies in projects.
- Support and facilitate teams and stakeholders to understand the customer experience of our products, as well as the influencing factors to the experience.
- Continuously contribute and develop concepts, ideas, and solutions within the projects and activities you lead and participate in.
- Propose and implement improvements in ways of working and collaboration.
- Support Jr/ Mid Service Designers and actively share expertise/ knowledge.

You probably have the following experiences & skills:
- A Bachelor of Design or equivalent.
- 5+ years of working experience within the field of design for consumer products and services. Experience in the field of consumer electronics is a plus.
- You have designed experiences for digital, physical eco-systems and have an interest and curiosity for the enabling technologies which make these experiences possible.
- Experienced in building service prototypes.
- Experience in communicating design solutions and systems to key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with other digital and hardware project team roles (from product designers to developers).
