Job duties
- Analyze user needs and societal challenges across sectors, and translate insights into developing holistic concepts that strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration.
- Lead and facilitate design processes together with actors across disciplines and management levels, from planning and workshops to collaboration with decision-makers and interdisciplinary teams.
- Visualize connections and value chains, and contribute with strategic service design to the development of national instruments and coordination structures.
- Incorporate methodology for insight- and data-driven concept development with a focus on societal value.
- Ensure that the team understands and contributes to the insight work, and help develop design expertise in the organization.
Qualifications
You must have
- Master’s degree in service design, UX design, product design, interaction design or equivalent. Relevant experience may compensate for parts of the education requirement.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in service design or related design disciplines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and good oral, written and visual communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
You should have
- Broad experience from insight methodology, service design and user involvement.
- Experience in connecting insight to strategy and contributing to priorities in complex initiatives.
- Ability to drive change across needs, stakeholders and sectors.
- Good professional leadership skills, and experience in establishing processes that work for interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience from the public sector and understanding of administrative structures.
- Experience with complex issues involving multiple sectors and levels of government.
