Senior Service Designer

We are looking for a business-driven service designer to join our Design & Digital Experience team in Stockholm. You want to create products and services that impact people’s lives for the better and work in close collaboration with designers, developers and customers. You appreciate the challenges and variety in customer projects – everything from public authorities to industrial companies. At the same time, you are curious to grow together with the team and contribute to our common development. 

As a Senior Service Designer, you will take a leading role in projects, coach other designers, share knowledge, and communicate directly with customers. 

Our DDX (Design & Digital experience) team is part of our Hardware & Design business area where we combine broad engineering expertise with deep specialist knowledge and a user-centric approach – to develop physical products and digital experiences all the way from concept to large-scale production. 

Job duties

• Lead service design and UX work in complex projects, from early research to validated concepts 
• Identify and define user and business goals, values and desired impacts and design clear paths to achieve them 
• Conduct qualitative research via interviews, field studies and user testing to gain tangible insights 
• Develop early concepts, service prototypes and user journeys across digital and physical touchpoints 
• Facilitate idea generation, co-creation and prioritization workshops with teams, stakeholders and users 
• Clearly communicate the value of service design and promote user-centered practices in the organization 
• Apply inclusive and user-centered design principles throughout the service ecosystem 
• Translate insights into service concepts that align user needs with business goals 
• Visualize and present research, service blueprints, user journeys, and strategies with clarity and confidence 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, developers, business managers and customers throughout the process

• To thrive in this role, you need to have solid experience. You have probably worked as a designer for several years. 
• We are a humble team with a strong educational background and we believe you are too. 
• Practical experience in planning and running service design projects, with documented results that have created business value with clear measurable goals. 
• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written (Swedish and English)
