We build experience‑first products on an AI and human‑in‑the‑loop infrastructure, and our digitalisation is data‑driven and iterative. We put the customer experience at the core, and design our services and products to deliver that experience in one unified, consistent digital ecosystem.

We’re looking for our first Service Designer with a strong research focus. You’ll work at the very start of the design process, understanding our customers, their journeys and their needs, before anything gets designed. You’ll build the foundations for this from the ground up and work across product, sales, support and marketing to create a 360° view of our customers, users, market and competition.

  • Run customer discovery with qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Map customer journeys, archetypes and personas
  • Uncover pain points, triggers, motivations and key moments across the customer experience
  • Validate new business ideas, including new products, services and pricing packages
  • Benchmark competitors’ services and digital products
  • Run user testing on our digital products, and set up measurements and analytics
  • Build research systems for documenting, sharing and collecting customer insights
  • Turn findings into actionable insights for sales, marketing and product development

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in service design, UX research or customer insights, with hands‑on research as a core part of your work
  • A mix of qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Strong interviewing and field research skills, and confidence meeting customers in person
  • Skilled at visualising insights, for example through journey maps and service blueprints
  • A business mindset, and the ability to connect insights to commercial decisions
  • Comfort with numbers, from reading analytics to analysing surveys
  • Experience setting up a research repository or knowledge system with modern tools and AI
  • Experience working across departments conduct market research and competitor analysis

What we offer

  • Build and own customer understanding at Bixter from the ground up
  • Shape how the whole company understands its customers
  • Choose the AI and research tools that suit you
  • Directly influence our future products, services, sales and strategy
